A sleek body whisked through two slim trees as rain poured upon the ground hardly. Stoping to sniff the rainy air, the cat moved silently along the piney woods that was Shadowclan. Just alittle while away was the Thunderpath loud and mighty, the border between Shadowclan and Thunderclan. "Good evening Jaystar, what brings you here in this weather." Jaystar turned around to face her muscular deputy, Winterclaw, and narrowed her eyes with curiosity,"I could ask the same with you Winterclaw. I was merely following the scent of a mangy Thunderclan cat." Spitting this with hostility she turned around to hear the deputy step within a fox length away from Jaystar. Dipping his head in sorrow the Shadowclan deputy meowed with sorrow and amusement in his rough voice,"Always so hostile towards your own clan, hmm? Well if your going to track down a good for nothing Thunderclan cat then I'm coming too." The leader stopped in her tracks and turned around to face him,"I don't remember asking for your help." Hissing as she walked Jaystar noticed he was still following her after her chose of words. Admiring his bravery she simply snorted and began to follow the scent once more as rain poured down on her whiskers.
Stopping at once she faced Winterclaw and exclaimed,"The scent leads up to the border between us and Thunderclan." Watching him nod his head slowly she turned around and headed back to camp, happy to have found that their neighboring clan was guilty of prey stealing or in general daring to step foot on the territory. Seeing that the rain had begun to lighten she raced to her den and sat down gently on her rump and waited for her deputy to say something. After a while of waiting, Jaystar opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by hearing Winterclaw speak first,"Will we mention this at the gathering Jaystar? I don't think it's that big of a deal..." Shocked by his out burst, the dark leader spoke with a hint of anger,"Of course I'm mentioning it! And it is a big deal! What I'd they stole our prey? I am highly disappointed that we feel differently." Winterclaw dipped his head with no response to the leader and turned then left. Huffing Jaystar laid down and fell asleep with anger.
